A gluten free label means the product contains absolutely no gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. Gluten can cause significant health problems for people with celiac disease or wheat allergies, and many others now choose gluten free foods for improved digestion.
Note that the baking process of some baked goods in our store included the use of small amounts of organic, non-GMO corn meal. If this is the case, it is noted in the description of the product.
